The short film tells the story of the eastern border of Italy, a land that has always been contested and offended by wars, hatred and ethnic and religious rivalries, but also a place of inclusion and welcome.

Dedicated to Marielle Franco Porto, human rights activist, municipal councilor of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro, murdered on the 15 March 2018, who fought for human rights and was at the forefront in denouncing abuses and extrajudicial executions and Hebron Khalaf, Kurdish activist with citizenship Syrian champion of human right, founder of Syrian Future Party, assassinated in Abyad on 12 October 2019, her assassination was defined as a war crime.

“Donne in guerra: Ayse non è Capuccetto rosso"

 

dedicato a Ayse Deniz Karakagil, caduta a soli 24 anni in battaglia contro Daesh a Baghuz nel marzo del 2019. Era stata condannata a 103 anni di carcere per aver partecipato a Istambul alla manifestazione per difendere Dezi Park.
